Hi,
I am interested in relocating to Singapore. I have been working as a patent engineer in Taiwan for the last year, writing new patent applications and responding to office actions, and have several years of prior experience as a software engineer (mostly C++/UNIX/SQL) and technical writer. I have a master's in CS from an American university. I am currently studying to take the USPTO patent bar to get my patent agent license.
Is there a demand for this type of work in Singapore? I've seen a couple of job ads that require existing Singapore residency, but none that are open or are for American engineers/agents.
