Some good articles for anyone following the debate.

The first is by Daniel Dennet a philosopher of science (I had a chance to chat with him for about an hour a couple of years ago!). The second is just great fun!

what debate? there's a debate?? over what? sigh. keepin up with this forum is becoming a definite time commitment item.
no trees were hurt in the making of this post but a few electrons were terribly inconvenienced

Global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct consequence of the decline in numbers of pirates since the 1800s. A graph showing the inverse correlation between the pirates and global temperatures was also provided.
