Hmm, *sigh* I guess heaps of the stories are true, but you can't say all...The problem with trying to diagnose ladies' tech problems over a forum is that more often that not, the chick goes "Help! My internet died!" and you end up running through every possible solution only to find out that she forgot to plug in the keyboard.
True story.
In all seriousness, try to log in as Administrator in safe mode then proceed to change the password on your account.
How to extract though? Cause I thought even after removing the HDD and plugging it to another PC would also still ask me the ID and password which I don't remember since the settings are saved in the dodgy HDD, no?banana wrote:Use At You Own Risk
In your situation though, I would remove the HDD from the offending PC, plug it into the more agreeable one and extract the required data. More mucking around but I like Adult Lego. Not to mention less of a security risk.

You would run the 2nd PC off it's own OS and access the offending HDD as a secondary drive.Kimi wrote: How to extract though?
