LAND SCAM HEADED FOR SINGAPORE!!!

Post by Pete 12 » Mon, 29 Aug 2005 12:01 am

Beware of a company called European Land Sales - ELS... www.stephencleeve.com which is apparently headed for Singapore.

They sell land plots in green belt areas in the UK. They have such a bad reputation in England that they are now targetting overseas investors who are unaaware of all the bad publicity.

Recently, they were in Hong Kong. A HK journalist wrote a warning article about them. The man behind it is a known con man called Stephen Cleeve. Tell your friend, tell everyone to BE CAREFUL.

For more details - and some really EYE-OPENING facts, check this web site www.stephencleeve.com

Fair warning mate. You get all sorts in all industries.

As investors, we have a duty to do our due diligence before jumping into any purchase. Check the track record of the company, look into the facts from a credible source and make an informed decision. It is your hard earned money afterall.

I hear they are looking for sales reps now in Singapore. This is how they do it, get people to cheat their friends. Sadly, lots of people dont check it out especially if they trust the salesperson.

The sad thing is that people simply refuse to do their due diligence, get scammed and then complain to the authorities. Result? At best the industry gets regulated by MAS and becomes part of Singapore Inc. Worst case scenario everyone gets tarred with the same brush and Singapore Inc remains the only land banker on the island.
