Panbesy 30mg

Post by Lady Luck » Sat, 27 Aug 2005 10:11 am

Hi All, I'm now on m 3rd day of panbesy. I felt very energetic than usual ie, workaholic ! Side effect to me are like, disturbance in my sleep ( sleep for less than 4 hrs!!) and wake up like a "zombie" ....haha... Got it prescribed by my GP which costs me $16 for 2 weeks supply excludes consultation fee. Dr will see me once I complete the whole course.

At first, i felt heaty and dryness on my lips and throat. Therefore, must drink plenty of plain water. Must be taken b4 b'fast (1/day), so that it'll curb all the craving of food etc. I now, eat healthy meals. Dr did adv me to skip lunch, but i guess that's not too good for the digestive system, therefore, my lunch is fruits/salads with no dressing and fresh milk. My dinner menu is a small scoop of rice with no fried stuffs (coz u cant just leave out carb in ur diet). I read a lot on diet mags hence, it gives me satisfaction in doing my dieting programme rather than just those kinds of crash diet that most does. (I actually set my mind, that this is just a new way of balanced diet meal!! hahaha). Obviously when I reach my ideal weight, I will reduce the intake. As many mentioned that it may lead to weaken heart etc, i guess everyone have to be on an alert side and jot down any symptoms and report to Dr immediately. I'll update when how long I'll take to reach my targetted weight. I used to be 80kg and my Dr adv me to reduce to 65kg. My height is 164m. I hope to achieve this slowly and carefully before Hari Raya, I hope I'm being practical, cos with fasting mth starting in Oct, I would be able to carry on dutifully with my current healthy diet programmes which I have set.

Wish me Luck & most of all, stay Healthy !

Good luck to you! Do update on your progress.
Btw where did you get your pills? Is your GP strict?
I went to mine and he refused to give me cause I am only slightly overweight (according to him)

Panbesy also mean phentermine in medical term. It is made from Osmopharm in Switzerland. I obtain this info from Singapore Doctor.

The side effect is dry throat, restless, sleepness and dizziness. It is great to lose weight but those have high blood pressure may not suitable to take this medicine.

for your info

I have been started on this by my doctor at cosmopolitn clinic last month. Initially I was started on 15mg to avoid insomnia etc. Gradually, My dose was increased to 30 mg. I must say, so far I am quite happy with the results with little offending side effects. I think it is a 'short cut' for people like me who are not discipline with their gym sessions.
