Oh, before 6. Got to be up and have some coffee before I get the kids up for school. Sometimes earlier if there is alot to do or I'm jet-lagged.

In too short a time my kids will be gone, out of the house, off to University. I'm glad to get up with them. Although have to say I love the summers when can watch late night tv and sleep later. Don't mean to sound overly sentimental, but there it is.

I know from where you speak. I lose my daughter in February (marriage) and my son in about 2 years to NS. That said, I don't let that interrupt my sleep! That's my wife's department.

SMS, Normally I would say 'shameful!' but then I thought: nah, let the poor guy sleep, he has a job to deal with after all. Getting up with the kids is my job. But boy, Mondays are rough.
