opening new business in coffee sector

Post by zamorano » Tue, 23 Aug 2005 7:54 pm

Hi,

I want to start my own business in the coffee selling sector in Singapore as a foreigner. Does anyone have info for me and/or can answer my questions:

How long does it take to open a store (regulations, legislation)?
Where can I find info about research on coffee consumption in Singapore, financial info (annual report) of coffee stores?
is there a way for owners of a store to pay lower income tax for example the owner doesn't earn a salary, but gets paid through a bonus?
What other sectors/products still offers growth or aren't sold in Singapore?

If anyone have ideas about a business in Singapore or have info about opening a business in Singapore please send your info to zamorano1@yahoo.com

Brief introduction of myself: I was born in South America. I'm a financial advisor and have a bachelor degree in Accountancy and a University degree in IT auditing.
I want to live and work in Singapore asap.
