Is there anyway I can get past the onward ticket deal? I'm going to be immigrating to Singapore so why would they want one from me?

If you have your approval in principle letter for your work pass or other form of visa you won't need the ticket.

Thanks =)

I have another question, Strong Eagle..

Well, I know that you need a work permit in order to work
but if you cant find a job overseas in order to get that work permit
is there anyway you could actually go into the country and find a job?
