Threat of avian flu

The threats of avian flu are luring is being repeatedly voiced by health organizations like WHO, I want to know is there any information that the virus has in fact shown any evidence of action till now.

Yes, as at present all eyes are focusing on the same you will be astounded know that very recently (19th Aug) an outbreak of a mild form of avian influenza was reported in Japan while in the meantime the World Health Organization (WHO) voiced concern about the recent spread of H5N1 avian flu to Russia and Kazakhstan. Japan's Ministry of Agriculture reported that chickens at a farm in Konosu, near Tokyo, had tested positive for avian flu, according to the Chinese news agency Xinhua. So it does look that the dreaded disease is back in action.
