They used to have an age limit as in the presentation. It used to be 28. But after they absorbed ex-crew from SIA, they accept 'new' crew who are above 28. No age limit at the moment.

There will be a need to make a Time Deposit in a bank, and that will be your bond. If you leave the company, then bye-bye to your deposit.

They need a lot of new crew, as in a lot!!! They will be expanding very soon, and get rid of those old crew who didn't perform well. IF they don't meet the required number of new recruits, they usually hire from Malaysia (Mandarin speaking), China, and Korea.

Hi,

May I know that they will recruit Vietnamese in the future?

Iam Vietnamese girl living in Singapore, I really wanna become a FA one day.

If you have any information abt recruiment, pls drop me at co_be_toc_te85@yahoo.com.vn

Thanks,

The safety training, (Safety and Equipment Procedures Training), is very important, you cannot afford to fail it. It's the only way to get your cabin crew licence. Anyway, if you don't understand how to operate things in the plane, you really don't fit in to the job.

The environment? It's quite nice. Nice bunch of people! Roster? Very relaxed!

Tips

Post by alealejandro » Tue, 30 Nov 2010 4:15 am

TIPS! TIPS!

1. Attend an Opening Day in Singapore. Watch out for that ad in the newspapers. (Ensure that you meet the requirements).

2. Be your most gorgeous self on that day.

3. Be punctual. Any airline would like someone punctual.

4. The one who might possibly pick you is the one who will check your height!

5. Don't ask questions that you think will just waste the time of other applicants.

While other airlines prefer applicants with experience, Tiger will only require successful applicants to have a banker's guarantee (Time Deposit). This is to prevent people from using their airline to jump to another airline, which makes sense.

:)

it's quite hard for filipino to get in... let's say in a batch of 20 trainees... more than half will be chinese msians, quarter sporeans, quarter koreans.. and 1 filipino.. or sometimes no filipino at all. the new recruits are chinese filipinos, ex-crew...

why dun u try cebu, or seair? easier i guess?

5k

Post by alealejandro » Wed, 29 Dec 2010 12:24 am

5k is like a bond. U need to open a timedeposit in a bank. The conditions on the deposit are stated on a contract u will sign with sass atlantic. U resign within 2 yrs, byebye to ur 5k. U finish 2 yrs, u can withdraw ur 5k from the bank.
