Congratulate to you for going through the whole JAL interview.
Don't worry. Im sure you'll be able to make it through.
We're still young and we still have plenty of time for us to gain experience.
It's always the case that budget airline tend to be more fun as compared to the upper class like SIA?

wow......it seems that there's lots of ppl who wld like to join Tiger
I hav few frds in there & jz to enlighten some doubts....
1st....yes it's lots of fun in Tiger.....the crew work N party hard.....it builds team work N frdship....
2nd.....it may be a budget airline but most of the crew are professional in what they do.....remember they r trained to handle emergency situations as well.....
3rd....if u r directly hired by Tiger.....then there's no deposit (that's to my understanding unless they've changed it - the deposit thingy was a tie up wif a company called Sass something or another)
4th.....if u wanna use Tiger as a stepping stone for another airline....remember this - a full service airline is jz that....FULL service....all work onboard.....going thru the rank n file.....so if Tiger is ur route to another airline......work really hard n prepare for a culture shock once u cross over.....cheers :)

yes. however, if your dream is just to be a cabin crew, tiger is not a bad choice.. i think the names of the airline only adds glam to one. EG. if u say u are from SQ or EK, its a 'WOW' factor.. but all cabin crew's main job scope is almost the same...

so go for your dreams... its not easy being a cabin crew be it with a full service airline or a budget carrier...

Hi dear, how sure are you with this? When was the time you heard about this? Cuz I actually want to apply Tiger but I dont think I can afford to pay a deposit to them. Is there anyone else who know the answer to my question? Thank you. :)

Well the last batch that passed out has got FAs which were directly hired by Tiger....their pay scale consist of a basic, flight allowance & commission....which means there's no tie up with an external company.....hence no deposit....for those who had to pay a deposit, they are paid per sector (which really sucks cos those FAs get paid peanuts)....if u really wanna be sure, call Tiger & ask

Is Tiger Airways still hiring?

Post by lemonlemon » Wed, 11 Feb 2009 2:12 pm

Would like to check if Tiger Airways is hiring? Mostly of all the budget airlines, normally how many months they will open up for recruitment? :)
