Hi Wana_Fly,
There are so many airlines outside for you to choose from.
But you still prefer TigerAir. Why is it so and whats the reason?
Sorry. Although its true that they are nice crews. But the pay is
low. You dont mind that also?

I would like to ask everyone a questions,
Would you prefer to work with low income in a happy environment? or
Would you prefer to work with high income in a unhappy environment?
wana_fly: Don't bother of what other says about the income. But what matter most is you're going to be happy.
Most people never realised that money can be made but happiness is hard to come by. If you were paid so much, but you're not happy in your workplace, it isn't worth it. I realised my mistake and I regret it.

true..but wad is e gap of low pay n high pay. difference of 500 to get a nicer environment work place is wad i dont mnd to giv up.. but if the pay is much lower than the industry usual pay..don we always feel underpaid n grumble?
*jux my personal comment, no offence*
but perhaps its true tiger good working place than sia.. but at e end of the day, hw can we conclude for sure u wont regret gg into tiger which nids three yr bond plus 8k upfront? wad if u go in jux happen to meet e bunch of black sheeps

It's not the regret Chai Ching! It's the happiness in life. If you're rich and unhappy, do you think it's worth it of living?
dOvee: Under paid is so much better than suffering in one environment. Don't you think so?
Even if you want to grumble, as least at work you don't have to grumble cause the crew is very nice and easy to get along with. Just like friends, you feel sad and stress, and when you have friends all your sadness and stress are gone.
so, i guess you rather choose money over happiness?
*my own personal opinion, hope you won't get offended*
Like I said: money can be made if you work hard, but if you're unhappy, what's the use of being paid higher and your life is like you're in a world war three!
get what i mean?

This is a sensible question; until a year ago I had a job that was much better paid than most but I hated the environment, not least the people I worked with.
A good many applicants go for SIA the wages being a major factor but think of the hassle of being away for so long not to mention being tired almost all the time. In addition there will be a devasting impact on your social life and your love life or you could be taken ill abroad.
At least with the regional airlines you get to be home at the end of a shift and you can always find hobbies or interests that needn't cost a fortune which sometimes lead to better paying job - try to be patient.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
