juz cm bk on a TG flight... was horrified at how TG select their cabin crew. There were 3 female & 1 male FA onboard. The male FA was ALMOST balding and his shirt was not ironed. Look so untidy~ And he didn't smile at all, not even once. One angmoh behind me wanted to buy some drinks and i guess he was having a bad sore throat, thus he couldn't speak clearly. The male FA just kept asking, "WHAT?? WHAT?? WHAT YOU SAY??"... i'm horrified :o

1 female FA didn't shave the hair on her forearms... Well i'm not really particular about this, but hers was super long!!!! (that's why i notice it) Then i noticed another female FA has one hairclip clipping her fringe up. I know that the fringe is very annoying, but there must be a better way to do it rite (learn from the SQ gals)?? She did it the way like how i "anyhow" clip my fringe up at home. And throughout the flight, she kept clipping her fringe (cox the clip was loose).. But one good point is she smiles alot~

I'm still wondering how they got into TG....

ermmm.. under the cabin crew section, it only says abt the requirements of a cabin crew(and other jobs too)...

If is from the link, it says:

Job ID: FCC359

Applicants should possess the following attributes:
• Minimum height of 1.58m
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Minimum four N-levels with good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to speak second language an advantage
• Good communication and sales skills
• Medically fit to meet aircrew requirements
• Able to swim a minimum of 50m unaided

How to apply:
Tiger Airways has an ongoing need to recruit cabin crew and if you are interested in being considered please send your CV to recruit_cabincrew@tigerairways.com and we will contact you for the next intake. Due to the high volume of applications that we receive, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

In relations to this, they will only inform you about the deposit that you will need to have as stated by Ding Dong Bell.. It is said to be a surety amount which they will freeze in your fixed account for 3 years that you can forget about using even 1 cent.. So better consider properly before you commit into a career with TG..

Actually almost anyone can get into TG so long as you can afford to freeze the surety amount in the bank and they are really in need of crew recently..

However, please be aware that your income in TG somewhat co-relate to your sales figures inflight as well..

I know this is going to sound mean, but from what I've read here, it's like you're paying them to hire u?

The... balding man.. "WHAT?? WHAT?! WHAT YOU SAY??" very funny... No need TV, just watch live cartoon on board.

Well, not really. As far as I know, Batch 12 is the only batch that had such things implemented cos they had another agency representing them or something like that. All the others had normal interviews.

And yeah, our training was about 5 WEEKS, and not only a FEW DAYS and no, we're not trained to be like that.
