didnt u ask them how is the payscale like? since u say u are starting training soon.. im sure they would have told u u salary package.
That's not the point. Just wondering why such a post, if it actually exists, should be banded about. Plavt has got it spot on with his reply. I understand some crew are appointed as Senior Flight Attendants, as they have experience(ex-SQ crew).

Interesting point. Are you appointed as Senior Flight Attendant?

Hi, I think in life, timing can sometimes be everything. I posted my resume on-line on a Thursday afternoon and Tiger Airways called me the following day. I went for the interview at Changi T1 the following Monday, and I signed for them(3-year contract) 9 days later. What I hear is that they dun advertise in the papers as on-line applications are "overwhelming". I can check with the person in-charge regarding the status of applications, when I see her on Monday morning. :)

This to me is no surprise; companies sometimes like people who do act on their own initiative rather than 'sit back' and wait for the day that may never arrive.

Tiger is Singapore based, don't know whether they ask you to jump but the requirement is here;

Aiyoh, yours is indeed a profound question...well, here goes... I went for the walk-in conducted by Little Red Dot Academy(LRDA)last year, 28 October, to be precise. I made it through, but could not join their training on 13 November. I decided to submit a fresh application, and in it I stated that I have experience, having flown for SQ before. Perhaps, that made a little difference. Really not sure and I didn't dare ask. :)

I didn't jump or swim during the interview process, but will likely do so during the Safety Training phase. :)
