Ya I was shortlisted, but I'm unable to attend the training on 13 Nov due to my current job. Are you a crew from tiger airway?

When I was in Tiger, I take the opportunities to learn new things everyday. Everyday I get to know and learn new things be it from the seniors, cockpit crew or the passengers. It can be tough sometimes, but I always take it one step at a time.
Being a crew is not easy, you have to be prepared for alot of things. I always told my friends that to survive only be a crew when you're ready not when you think you're ready.
I have to admit that the environment in Tiger Airways is the best place where people could work and have fun together. The seniors are not zappy at all. They teach you and they will listen to your comments at the end of the day. [Some are the black sheep of the company, but majority are nice and caring]. I will miss Tiger Airways, cause the experience is a memorable to me. Every single day, I always look forward to go for flights cause I don't have any problems in dealing with the seniors. I really think that Tiger Airways is a good company for newbies to start with.
For those who just got the opportunity, please do not look at the benefits. Look at the fact that you will get to work with the most enjoyable environment. Never think that it's just a BUDGET AIRLINE. It is an airline where you could earn and learn new things every flight.
Hi.....
Will you get pay during the training?

Hi everyone,
I had my medical checkup just now and am just wondering if it's gonna affect my chances with Tiger Airways cos I told the doctor that I have menstrual cramps and he asked me how many MCs I take yearly for my cramps, to which I replied, "3 or 4". But I told him I was on medication and I can cope with the pain now.
Do you think TGA will look into the matter seriously? I was told by the Reddot guy not to mention anything about backache cos apparently a girl failed her med checkup immediately when she said complained about backache.
Sorry if this sounds silly, Im just very anxious. Advice anyone?
Thanks!

Urgggggh...........you really should have kept quiet about that, I take it by MC's you mean medical certificates. Medical certificates means you can't work which means the employer has to use somebody else to cover your duty when they would sooner have less staff not more. However, I could be wrong just have to wait and hope.

How does musked gold look like?... Oh and to those who are starting training this Monday, I wish you all the best of luck. Stay focus for the 7 weeks of training, ya?

Hi Ayume,
Thanks for the photo. I guess thats their new uniform huh bec last time they look like this attached photo. I heard that the male crew is also in musked gold but is a polo shirt?...hmm...Why dont they make proper uniform like Jetstar so that the crew can be proud wearing them. Even a LCC has a corporate image...
Anyone has photo of their male cabin crew uniform?

Take off point A and land at point B, e.g. WSSS - WMKK. That's 1 sector.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
