Hi karthi!Oh u mean they will sms?Wow and at 10.30pm??Dats pretty late...but is either the blue or white form the cabin crew pass form?

Ya, when i was waiting for the 1 to 1 interview, Annie gave me the blue and white form and she told me "Filling in this form doesn't mean that you are already selected" She says she want us to fill in that form coz she dun wan us to make another trip down if we r selected. Hey tats indeed veri sad..I can understand but what I can remember for my procedure is:

lst round: self intro( say they will call within one week if selected)
2nd round: talk about benefits and offer, bond, sector allowance..medical checkup and blah blah, try and take uniform home..they will give you a training date and ask you to fit into the date.
we fill in the crew and airport forms during training and tats why we are not allowed into the tarmac and departure and arrival hall..

mayb they have change the procedure this time..

Anyway may i ask if you guys are interested with jetstarasia or tiger airways. its juz a survey! coz i have resigned tiger airways. am now tryong for jetstarasia waiting for the application online to open.

All the best to everyone who is going to start flying soon. all the best for your intensive training and hope u guys will reply me of how your jumping of slide and swimming test was. ok c u guyz take care!!

I'm not that sure thou, but i've finished my notice 2 weeks ago. Maybe u should hold ur resignation 1st. Coz i was told training starts mid Aug. If u really get in this time round, can u make it for the aug training?

Oh its fine rainebelle!As long as they let me know b4 the 14th July as Annie has told me that the training is on the 14th August....I can ask my employer to allow me to leave eatlier as Tiger can only confirm with me around dis time...n I would really like to give being an FA a shot too...Just dat she'll need to get a replacement reali fast...but i can always pop by my current office to help the new person out when im free as im staying reali close to my current office.

Btw,karthi or ex-crew gal...annie told me the training will take a month.usually what are the training hours?office hours?

hi desijoey, alwiz cant manage to chat with u in msn...

Anyway, the 19yr old gal who was together wif us has nt been selected for 2nd interview..she's kinda disappointed.

As for wat my hb's ex colleague mentioned was juz being the pay very low(as flight sales nt say very gd) and benefits not good as compared to others lor...she mentioned if wan go for silkair instead.

Maybe the ex-tigerair crew here can enlighten me if there'll be any basic salary increment, or profit-sharing bonus, or AWS for cabin crew? I forgotten to ask abt tat during my 2nd.

YES! your hubby's x colleague is rite..the pay is damn pathetic low..no transport u must know tat..now u cant see the roster yet so u dun realli mind but once start flying..you will know wat i mean.
Benefits and welfare NO good..das the reason why many crew left for other airlines. there is no crew mea and we have to bringour own food..i have been eating instant noodles till I grow so sick of it..puke at the sight of it!! So far, I have not heard of any increment right from the start from the pioneer batch. Pls note that there is no AWS, bonus or anything!! and even the insurance like in case of disaster, its not listed down properly..Annie will just say we are covered under 1 million but its not stated down anywhere! Pls try go for silkair if can..and also if you are currently holding a reasonablepay, pls do consider properly as I mentioned b4..alot of my batch gals regret and stuck coz of the bond!

Hi Karthi.,, since u lefy TG..and wanting to join Jetstar..what is the difference ?? i have sent in my application for Jetstar the last time ..was supposed to go for initerview ,,but dint.....was it boring in Tiger since its only turnard flights...?? also..whats the age of ur oldest crew member..n if u dont mind ...what abt urself ?? thanks!

yup it's true. Tiger is like a stepping stone. Treat it as an experience. No point whinning. Cause I never grumble ever since I joined. Just treat everyday is a learning experience.
