My son wants a puppy for his eigth birthday. I am unsure about the best place to find a dog here. There seem to be only Pet Stores. I understand that is one of the worst places to buy a dog. I also really wanted a mixed breed, like a schnoodle or a cavoodle. Any suggestions from others to help me in my search would be great!

u can always go down to SPCA and see if there's any abandoned dogs that u can pick up. or u can ask yur friends if they'd any puppies to give away. pls register yur puppy if u pick up from yur friend. i have no idea who to register it with. but i'd heard of complains regarding pets in HDBs that aren't registered. other than that, where else do u want to pick up a healthy dog? pls do not pick up any cuties on the streets, u don't knw what it's going to pass on to yur son. there's lotsa pet stores in Singapore. do a search and slowly take your time shopping for it.
