Washers and Dryers

Am wondering whether most flats/condos have washers and dryers within the actual condo or what the standard is.

I have been house hunting the last 2 weeks. The higher priced condos more or less will have a washer and dryer... the washer/dryer in one does not work believe me if you want to waste energy and have half dried clothes.

More or less all apts will have a washer, it's a toss up with a dryer.. most Singaporeans usually line dry their clothes... it's a pain in the butt believe me but if the land lord is willing to you can request for a dryer.... hope this helps.

Do you have a family? You may want to ask for a US sized washer/dryer it space permits -- otherwise they are tiny.
