Two words for your friend: Dream on. Unless he/she has managed to secure an overseas psoting with a SIngapore subsidiary of a home MNC, he/she definitely needs to rethink. Heaps of locals (incl PRs) here are jobless and some are even Master's degree holders. His/Her best bet is to get off his/her ass, hop on a plane and get in to town a knocking. Just my 2 cents.
