Hi All,

Sentosa is one of the main tourist attraction here in Singapore. Basically, its by the water and they do have a beach but no waves.

KM8 is beach bar/club in Tanjong Beach. They play nice chilled out music on Sundays. The jacuzzi is right in front of the DJ box so its pretty good when chilling out in the pool with a drink in your hand listening to some cool tunes. It pretty good after a streneous beach volleyball session. 8)

Hope this helps.... :D

Sounds interesting. Count me in.

I believe there used to be a regular group playing on either Fridays or Sundays over there. Does that still happen does anyone know??

Do we have to supply our own gear?? I've only been over to Sentosa once and that was at night so I have no idea what is there.

Hi Dounut

No more ferry :( i remember the ferry years ago... Sigh! Now its just bus, taxi or cable car.

Yes u can walk over the link bridge....but its quite a walk from the MRT station. Easier to just hop on the bus right outside the MRT station, you'll see a bus interchange. The Sentosa bus is a huge Orange Bus... Can't miss it! :D

Hope this helps!

Hei . .

What a pity, the ferry is gone for good . . ? ? :(

If I'm not wrong, it cost S$1.20 for a ferry return ticket . .

The Sentosa bus is from the Bus Terminal above the Food Centre, or those that go around the city as well . . ? ?

Ha ha that must have been years ago  Yeah it is a pity, ferry was a fun way to get across. Now the big cruise liners have taken over the waterways!

Yup, from the terminal above the food centre. I've seen that too!! Sentosa buses in the city, but not quite sure where to pick that bus up from. Might be something to look into

Final questions:
1. Is the plan on this Sunday (14th Aug) finalized?
2. Beach volleyball or normal?
3. How many of us are going?
4. Since I only went to Sentosa twice before by cable car from harborfront mrt, and it's expensive actually, I dont know any other better way to reach the place. Would love to meet some of you somewhere in advance and go together. Please PM me for contact info.
