This new Birth Control, Evra PATCH. Help??

Post by ceres » Wed, 03 Aug 2005 1:02 pm

Just wondering, any email address i can send to for these questions to be answered?

1) If sunday is the start day of the patch, every Sunday must change a new patch, after the 3rd patch, 4th Sunday muz remove and free of patch. Then when do i wear the new 5th patch? 5th Sunday? if Mensus is still on-going do i still wear?

2) Can i consume reductil if wearing PATCH?

3) If PATCH fall off, i need to replace with a new one. Do i have to put it on the same spot or a different spot?

4) After using the PATCH do i still need to use condom?

5) PATCH can be place any where on our body parts? stomach? leg? hand? back?

6) If it's near the PATCH free day, having sex will increase chances of pregnancy?

7) How do i know if the PATCH is working?

=> i have a serious problem here, my mensus came on 18th July - 25th July. and now it came again on 1st Aug. I consume Morning pills (EC) before, this have cause my mensus date to be irregular. I called up a Doc and asked about it she say might be hormones changes might not be period and ask me wait for next cycle. I went to consult another Doc and he said if it's spot spot then might not be period but if it heavy flow and seems like ur normal mensus it is period and i can start my PATCH. It's is heavy and seems like my period but i dunno who to listen. If i use i got to go for the Sunday method. I dunno who to listen and i wanna start this contraceptive asap as i have regular intercourse i don't wanna get EC pills too often, Contraceptive is more effective. I really need advise asap.
