Moving to singapore next week for a couple of years

Moving very soon to Singapore and wondered what to expect and ask for any advice on things to do to settle in? I'm 23, what is the social scene like and where are the best place to go

Hi Henry,
Welcome to SG. There are alot to do in singapore and it depends what yr interest in. You can go clubbing, rollerbalding, scuba diving( of course nearby countries) short trips to asian countries, movies and etc.... Sure u will not be boring here. PM me if u want to meet up.

Yes, you will be bored. There's only so much you can do in Singapore. The quality of life is pretty good if your single and making good money. You just have to get very social cause if you dont then you will be a lonely boy all on your own.

yeap it is what you make of it. So far not so bad. I meet a lot of people from different countries. Girls are hot too. :lol:

There are plenty of activities.

I am from NY, and I find entertainment in SG rather expensive.
Cigarette and booze is about same as NYC while food and other things are much cheaper.

As long as you don't drink and smoke...you should be able to enjoy and save money.
