why not dry clean it? most of them are cloth, some cleaners know how to deal with fragile items

hello, how was the party yesterday? well abt yur omamori, arent it suppose to be renewed at some temple every year?

Omamori's (amongst other things you purchase from shrines/temples) are always meant to be brought to a shrine/temple at the beginning of the following year to be burnt, and it is widely practiced in Japan.

Washing an omamori is unheard of as it usually contains 'holy' pieces of paper/wood/cloth that has been prayed upon.
