Dear,
I am coming to Singapore on 2nd of September and will stay 16 days. Then I go back to finish my Master Degree and will graduate in October (suppose). After that I iwll come to Singapore again with intention to settle down.
Now I am coming with reason to scane the situation and to get information about everything as much as possible. I alreday made 4 contacts and they said I can contact them while my visit to Singapore. I wonder if anyone from you is also ready to give me 30 minutes of time because I really need advice and suggestions from people who live there.
If anyone interested to help me in that time, please write to my e-mail address: pasic13@hotmail.com
Thanks in advance,
Ahmed Pasic

Funny thing happened to me on Thursday.
I went to the post office in Slovenian capital (Ljubljana) to send something and behind me was an Asian woman. When I paid and removed, she approached the desk and said: "Can I get stamps for Singapore?" I smiled. I guess she was the only tourist in my country from Singapore and I was the only guy from Slovenia right now who attend to move to Singapore and we met in the middle of capital. Oh man....I stopped her and we started to talk...she said she quit her lawyer job in Singapore coz she was sick of stressful life and no-life situation. After that she decided to travel around the Europe and was astonished by Slovenia. She said economy here is stable, country is democratic, people are nice and nature is just fabolous. She is thinking to move here for some period while I am thinking to move to Singapore.
))
When she heard that you can buy nice car here for 10.000 SG dollars and a house for 150.000 SG dollars, she said: "I would never from Slovenia to Singapore if that is true!"
Singaporeans annual GDP is 27.000$ per individual and Slovenian is 19.000$ per individual.

Hi Ahmed,
why don't you come to the WNDC, the wednesday night drinking club, a social weekly outing of a lot of people from the forum here. At the 'events, gathering' section, every week it is announced which bar it will take place.
Here's an example for this coming Wednesday: http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ftopic24746.html
Just look at the froum on Monday and you will read where to go. It will be a good opportunity to meet people already and ask a zillion questions?
See ya,
Eric
