Postby Ring-A-Ding-A-Ling » Thu, 28 Jul 2005 3:09 pm

Just started working right smack in Orchard Rd...and was wondering where would be cheapest to park from 830am onwards to 6-7pm...

Any ideas. . . ? -

Prime time in prime area..... will cost you money....

Liat Towers has spacious lots and is less expensive, Forum Galleria is also not the most expensive one.

Valet Parking ... ?

Postby Ring-A-Ding-A-Ling » Thu, 28 Jul 2005 3:22 pm

Eric,

I was wondering if valet parking at the nearby hotels would be another alternative. I mean its something like $6 dollars/visit at the Hyatt otel...however is there a time limit?

Creative thinking indeed... But are you sure it is 6 sing per visit and not 6 sing per hour? If it is 6 sing per visit, you might wanna check possibilities for daily parking there, as this would be very cheap parking per day.

Not sure whether this link has the most updated info, but worth a peek:

Hyatt Valet ... Possible

Postby Ring-A-Ding-A-Ling » Thu, 28 Jul 2005 4:01 pm

Thing is that i've always valet parked when I head down to BRIX below the Hyatt. And all I know is that I hand over $6 dollars to the dude when I get my car at 1am in the morning.

So ... it'd be great if this would be applicable during the day too

ERIC : Great site u gave. Tanglin shopping centre works out to be the cheapest. $71.40 a month.

The Hilton was the biggest bargain of them all when it came to valet parking, not sure it still is but you may want to give it a try as well. I think the underground parking opposite the Wheelock parking facility is a monthly lot, and you can check out the coupon lot next to it. May be find cheaper parking just outside the CBD and MRT to your specific location?

Best of luck.
