Any gyms near Bukit Batok/ Bukit Panjang area?

Yes... there is a gym at the bukit batok sports center... Next to the Bukit Gombak MRT Station . It is a pay per visit kind of gym..$2.50 per entry or you can join the membership as well. Besides that they have also lots of classes being conducted at this sports club. Stuff like kick boxing, pilates, in-line skating and many more..

I thin you have to check with the singapore sports counci lwebsite to find out about their contact numbers.
