We might be doing the country a favor?

Hello, i want to seek some advise here as i have read about wp marrying sc. I am currently holding a wp that will expire this april 28. I am married to sc and i am filipina. We did seeked approval (MOM) and it was approved. We did ROM last year and married december. We applied for ltvp January and sent me an email to reconsider my application. We did not do the PMLA, stated there will takes 6weeks to 6months. My application in ICA still receiving attention. My question is if my wp expire this april can i get a short term visa or need to go back in home country as it is hard to go back now due to pandemic. Cam anyone atleast give some advise. Thank you so much.

I am an SC married to a WP holder. I did the whole MoM approval (successful), PMLA (successful), and applied for LTVP on 23rd Feb. It is still receiving attention. I called ICA and all they could say was wait. My wife's WP expires 31 May.

The PMLA took like 9 working days to get approved. LTVP is taking a bit longer.

What will happen if her wp expire? Does she need to stay or need to go back?
