Golden mile complex on Beach road, certainly in the weekend the place is totally Thai: food, people, music, everything is like in Thailand itself, and it is so cheap to eat there. Just chose any restaurant or coffeeplace, delicious real thai food.
If you are looking for more ambience, try Pattara on 4th floor in Raffles City, upscale thai restaurant with excellent food and nice views.

Thai Smile cafe on Circular Road, Boat Quay - cheap and cheerful, food is excellent and service is always with a smile. The ladies there are bonkers but very friendly !!

u want something nice and not that costly, Sakura would be my recommendation.
Located @ FarEastPlaza (Orchard Rd) - its a thai-chinese cuisine.
So far the best TomYam I had in Singapore.
for mango salad - Siam's Kitchen one is nice.
The other one I like is Parkway Thai @Centrepoint...

Its just outside Burger King & next to Hans.
