Hi, I am looking around for any computer games that are based on the Star Trek series? I am a novice at this (computer game titles) and cannot beat the pros.

In terms of selecting which games to bring in. Thanks.

"Star Trek Shattered Universe" Debuts January 13!

Trapped in the Mirror Universe. The Federation doesn't exist here. The cruel Terran Empire rules with an iron fist; all your friends are now your enemies and your enemies are now your allies. In order to get home you'll have to take a dangerous journey and engage in mind-blowing, frantic fighter combat missions.

This is what's in store for gamers in "Star Trek Shattered Universe," the exciting new game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms from TDK Mediactive and Starsphere Interactive, hitting stores this month.

The first Star Trek game created for the PS2 and Xbox platforms, "Star Trek Shattered Universe" is set in the post-Original Series era of the Star Trek movies, as the game follows Captain Hikaru Sulu (George Takei) and his ship the U.S.S. Excelsior (as seen in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country").

The story kicks off quickly as the Excelsior takes on a rescue mission, seeking to free the U.S.S. Enterprise and another ship, both trapped in the Janus Prime Vortex. When Excelsior gets drawn into the vortex, Sulu and his crew suddenly find themselves in the Mirror Universe. Where moments before Pavel Chekov (Walter Koenig), aboard the Enterprise, was warning Sulu to avoid the vortex, now his cruel voice accuses Sulu of betraying the Empire. "Death can come in a thousand cuts," he proclaims as he launches a wave of small fighters to destroy the Excelsior.

"Star Trek Shattered Universe" sends players on various missions with over a dozen levels of arcade-style action, as Sulu and his crew work to return to his own universe. The one-player game features the voice talents of Takei and Koenig as well as some other surprises that sharp-eyed fans will enjoy.

"Star Trek Shattered Universe" will be available for purchase January 13.
