Birth Control Pills

Hello,

i'm in quite a dilemma. You see, I am currently on this brand of bcp of 21 days, however, i've lost one pill, so i'm stuck with 20 pills, and do not have any current supply of the current bcp i'm taking. However, i'm thinking of switching to brand b of birth control pills, and i'm not sure when to take the new batch of this new brand. My 21 pills usually end on wednesday, and I would allow 7 days for my period to come, and I would continue on on the following thursday.

Do i, just eat the 20 pills until wednesday, and stop for 8 days instead of 7 days, and continue with a new brand of birth control pills on the following thursday? Or do I start counting from wednesday (with only taking in 20 pills instead of 21), and then start a new brand of birth control pills on the following tuesday?

What do I do? Please advise.

No expert here, but wouldn't a chemist/pharmacist be able to help you at no cost? Good luck!

Hey, consult the doctor which u get this pills from. If i'm not wrong i consult the doc about birth control methods before and i did ask her about lost of pills or whatever, the best is to wait for the new cycle n start over again with he new pills. Best is consult the doctor for more effective results for the contraceptive. But recently the doctor introduce me a patch thing which acts like the pills. If u need more information about this just respond to my reply then i'll tell ya more about it and which doctor introduce me.
I haven't use it yet waiting for my 2nd cycle.
But most clinic have it actually can try asking any doctore around ur area.
