Hi, does anybody know when the club China Jump (Chijmes) re-opens? It was under construction the last two weeks.

the club owners say they didnot extend their contract and want to reopen at a different place with a "new concept". Other part of the story is that it got closed due to "censorship" motivations, too wild...

Define 'wild'? A little bar top dancing was all that ever happened there....

Pity......it was my favorite Wednesday night watering hole when I was off on thursday...
And the sultans - yeah the sultans
they play creole...Creole, baby

I remember reading in the straits times that the top bar dancing was the reason for the landlord to not extend the lease? Most likely after getting consulted by the authorities?
