WNDC July 20th, will be at Liberte

Postby Deadpoet » Mon, 18 Jul 2005 12:59 am

Hi Guys,

Have not been back to Chijmes for a long time, so this week's WNDC will be at Liberte.

Direction: Chijmes, across from Raffles City/Citi Hall MRT

See you all there at 8pm. Everyone is welcome.

I got a question, what's the dressing code for these clubs and pubs like? Usual; no sandals, slippers, bermudas?

Are you checking the right "costume" for your visit of the WNDC Stefania? Means you are coming this time?

Just wear whatever is comfortable, most people seem to appear in casual, (t-)shirt and jeans alike. slippers, shoes etc. anyhting goes, relaxed atmosphere, nothin special required, but if u wanna dress up for the occasion, by all means...

The reason why i asked was because years ago when i used to go to Boat Quay, there were certain dressing codes like no slippers and shorts (i actually had a friend who was turned away at a club because he wore those man sandals). Seems like rules have relaxed.

Since you are French Carpe Diem,

Will you be staying at the Novotel Wangfujing? If so, DO NOT consider taking a massage at your room...

Take a nice calvados in the loungebar instead, much more enchanting, they serve the aged calvados...

And try these places, worth a visit: Suzie Wong and Banana's

Thanks for the info Eric. In fact I was last night in Beijing and tonight in Tianjin. Then going to Qingdao.
I did not go to the places you mention...

Its Alive!

Well, Well! The WNDC is very much alive and running. Indeed a pleasant and welcome surprise. I remember being for a WDNC about a year or so ago or was it later, cant remember much of it! Maybe not this time but certainly next time. I am sure a non-alcoholic member will not dampen the image of the WDNC. After all, it does not say WNDC-FAD (For Alcohol Drinkers). :P

Ciao!

Hi Guys,

See you at Liberte tonight.

Everyone is welcome.

We will most likely sit outside by the lawn. However, if the weather gods do not cooperate, look for us inside.
