Would a company take in a Poly Dip or a private dip?

Postby ceres » Sun, 17 Jul 2005 7:09 am

Ok, just to ask as i'm considering to study in private sch or wait for next yrs intake for poly.
I dunno which will be better choice too. A poly diploma or a private diploma cert(private sch that is recognize by moe)? Would a company rather get poly then private? Which cert would be better? Advise pls!

Naturally you should wait for an poly under MOE. NYP, NP, SP, TP or even RP. They are much more recognized.
Useful webby for expats: Blog of nice things you can find in Singapore costing below $2. Updated very regularly.

I agree.. all poly dip are accepted in most government bodies...and they are more recognized as well..

However the private companies accept the private diplomas too.

But if I were you, I'll go for the poly ones to be in a better position in recruitment.
We'll get along fine as soon as you realize I'm Good.

Yes agreed with poly dip.. i even encouter in an interview which only reconized poly dip by MOE.. Even BMC dip by LCCL they dun consider it at all..

If time allowed i suggest you wait for your poly dip intake.

the only diff is the timing. For part time it will take longer to complete the course.. That about all.
