fax numbers,email addresses, Bank Ac#

Post by guest15july » Fri, 15 Jul 2005 2:37 pm

I have subject three queries, I am in training business
I want a good resource of email addresses ,fax numbers for mass advertising. Alos if anybody could provide the mass faxing service providers details.

I want to open Bank account in my company's name, but for that the minimum of daily balance $10000 needs to be maintained, I am new start up with sole prop. I don't think I can do that....is any other bank giving better terms? The above condition quoted is from DBS bank.
Thanks

You don't need to maintain a minimum daily balance of $10,000 except to avoid service charges, which are usually about $35 per month. Check Stan Chart or Maybank... you can open with less than $10,000... just have to pay monthly fee.

As for the lists, I hope you never find them. Spam me with unsolicited email and I will NEVER buy from you... most people feel that way. I feel the same about fax. You waste my ink and my paper for sending me a message about a product I don't need? Best watch out. I might send back a 10,000 page fax to you.

guest15july,
Why don't you try to work on your marketing plan, and try to target your potential clients? Mass faxing, email really turn ppl OFF.
Bank acount: Try OCBC as well.
Good luck.

OCBC has the worst service. I had bad personal experiences with them:

1) Their personal will give you the proud, unhelpful look if you are opening a business account for under $10000.
2) I called to enquire about the procedure of setting up a business account and followed the instructions but upon reaching the branch I was denied dun to unknown added reasons.
3) The 2nd point happened 3 times.

I think OUB is has much better service. Heck! Even DBS is better.
Useful webby for expats: Blog of nice things you can find in Singapore costing below $2. Updated very regularly.

Well, I said give it a try.
The local banks are gearing up for big business. So, some of the ppl you meet may follow the banks' ultimate objective, catch the big FIsh.
On your experience, if you are really unhappy about the OCBC incident, you can
1. Ask OCBC for the reason.
2. Write to MAS to to lodge a complain, CC a copy to OCBC. I am sure you can find out Y ...

Yes, agreed with the suggestion.. I do encounter with a furniture merchant and due do some default for the L-Shape cover and i requested the merchant to add a zip to it.. But then they tell me if i want an additional zip i got to pay $50.00 for it.
I try calling their head office and speak to them but they insist i got to pay for it..
Without a choice i wrote in Singapore Furniture Association and cc the letter to CASE. Within a week the merchant call me and tell me that they will add the zip for me FOC..
