Who would you classify as a Singaporean celebrity?

Honestly, it depends on how you define 'celebrity'. If the definition means someone who is known outside Singapore, then probably the last person was Anita Sarawak!
On the other hand, if its just within Singapore, then anyone who happened to be walking in the backgroud while a TCS news crew are filming, then claim to be a "MediaCorp Artiste".

They are normally called 'artistes'. Not so much as celebrities.
