Let us explore 'space' here in 3 contexts:

1- Time and money that singaporeans can contribute to the arts.

2- Local talent to showcase the arts in singapore.

3- Capacity for singaporean audiences to appreciate the arts.

Let us also remember that the 'arts' in this context does not neccessarily mean entertainment. Although performing arts is to entertain, it is not always the case.

i.e. Linkin Park entertains but are they considered 'art'?
