Need help for t-shirt printing

Post by GoofyGroove » Mon, 04 Jul 2005 5:02 pm

Hi,

I'm a freelance designer. I need help to print some designs of mine on t-shirts of mine to be shown as samples to my potential clients/buyers. I need to print about 1-2pcs per design on t-shirts from white to coloured (light and dark) t-shirts. My designs ranges from A4 to A3 size. A few are very complex designs. I need the design to be plot and cut to shape without leaving background/borders. My designs are already in high resolution (300dpi) and in .jpg format. Due to the low qty of printing, I know, heat transfered printing is preferred. So far, I've been quoted with ridiculous, outrageous and high pricing. Can anyone recommend me shops, who will do the heat transfer printing at a low price, with good quality printing and using a good quality t-shirts? If a deal is struck between me and my clients, there'll be an option of printing it in large quantity and using silkscreen method.

Thanks and regards.

what kind of pricing you already been quoted with?

In many smaller shopping malls, in places like Ang Mo Kio, and probably most of the others, there are small "digital printing" shops - they print posters, namecards, mugs and t-shirts in small quantities, and they shouldn't be expensive (including the t-shirt as well).

If you are not local, ask your local friend to ask these shops for prices, before you show your face there ;)
