dvd rental

Post by clueless » Sun, 03 Jul 2005 8:08 pm

hellooo.. me and my brother have lots of dvd collections (original).. we are thinking to rent it out to some of our church friends and neighbour.. and probably later on we are thinking to open a dvd rental shop.

but i'm still clueless..whether is it legal to rent out dvd in singapore? because sometimes if i watch a dvd they have some kind of disclaimer like..'this dvd is only for home use only bla..bla..bla'... so is it ok to rent it out ?

any comments/suggestions would be very much appreciated...

thanks...

Well there are lots of shops renting DVDs. Recently there are even DVD renting machines sprouting around the Island. Maybe you would need to get some rights?

Anyone knows?
