Latin and/or Black music bar or discothek

Brix in the basement of Hyatt (Scotts Rd) does R&B and hiphop, and their in-house band isn't too shabby. Stiff cover on weekends though and all the women charge by the hour.

Hi,

there is a latin orientated club in Singapore called Union Square, which is located in the Amara shopping centre. Its a Salsa bar but recently they've bought in a band from Columbia and they play a bit of bachata and merengue music. I go there for salsa but I haven't been in the last few weeks and the band just got playing 2 weeks again.

Oh a bar in Sing called the East West Bar has a dedicated cuban / latin on a specific night per week. I'm sure you could find out a bit more about it through the net.
