I've taken Jetstar Asia before. Doesn't take too much to be an air stewardess there, i think.

Hi colleen

Which part of the monster application can I leave my photo? Did you include a full length or passport size photo? Was it a formal looking or casual dressed photo?

Morning Guest,

Just went into the jetstar web and try sent in my resume.But i cant find places to attach my photo.Did you figure out?By the way, i sent in again today then i reliase that i didnt mail out on sunday.Very blur!!!!Ha...As i didnt received any letter from monster to my email on sunday.But v weird is that the letter sent to me by jetstar state thank you for sending the application and those shortlisted one will be inform end june.But now is july already leh.the head line from the monster for the jetstar job is state July/August, so do you think the recruitment will end in august?Very tired, maybe due to not enough sleep. 8)

Not too sure... I also got a reply thanking me for applying and will be shortlisted by end june... but the ad is still on their web page... And I couldn't find a place or link to send in my photo... so really dunno how some gals could uploas their photos... Maybe cos no photo submitted, they can't see how we look like so didn't shorlist us...

You do know by now that Jetstar might be merging with Valuair soon... so really duno what they up to... cos if they are merging, they won't be expanding their fleet, so why need more crew???

Ya loh, if they really merge,why still need to recruit so many crew. I dnt think we are not shortlisted.As for me, i only send in my application today. So have to wait.I also do not think that they ask for photo as i really cant see where to attach it in the monster section.By the way, i do received call from other company asking me go for interview as they say they saw my resume in the monster page. HOw abt yur side?

Hi goh

I chose to hide my resume from other employers so they can't view my details, cos those that will call are usually from insurance agencies looking for insurance agents....

I may be wrong though...

You r right.I think they are insurance agent,although she call and say the job title is finance analysis.But from the email that they sent to me,sound more to insurance agent then others. Anyway,i not so keen as no basic pay. 8)

Dear all,

Gotten the reply email as well for interviews in July. It could be that management is reviewing whether they really need staff after all after the merger. Then again, there could be new flight routes or to replace existing staff?

Dear Rpammi,

recieved the email in late Jun but no mention of which date the interview would be. Let's be patient, shall we? With the possibility of mergers, I guess we would be hearing from them much later.

Hi Colleen

The Jetstar interview is pretty simple... just need to be confident, natural and smile... most importantly be pro-active

I don't know if the interview is still the same but the 1st round, u'll be put in groups of 10 and talk abt ureself. Followed by a short description on the job which will be presented by the recruitment officers. Then break into smaller groups where they will be give u a topic and discussed among ureself and how the group want to present it.

2nd interview is a 1-1 interview followed by a scenario where u have to role play it however u want.

Last interview will be meeting the management to see how u interact and mingle. For all stages if ure successful, they'll call u on the day itself.

Tink if im not wrong, i sent my application in e mid of june.. Have been waiting for SIA & Jetstar, but did not received any reply by SIA, so i tot no hope.. Quite surprising i got the reply from Jetstar.. Do u hav any idea hows e interview like??
