Hi guys,
I'm not saying this out of anger. I am just stating my opinion and from my other colleagues who was formerly with Jet star/Valuair.
They told me that you don't only work for Jet star, but you will also work for Valuair [it's a full service airline;but drinks such as soft drinks must be purchase onboard]. That means you have to work for 2 airlines instead of 1. Sometimes, during your stand-by you will have to stand-by at the airport in the office. The ex-crew told me that you might even have to do paper work.
Their pay was cut drastically ever since Jet star and Valuair merged together. That's why alot of crew resigned.

Ps: This is not from my words. All this information I got was being told by my colleague.

hi merra, really ur finals is on monday too! great will get to see each other den, i mean if ur still thinking about wanting to join jetstar dat is.

i read alot of nagative remark in dis forum by mostly ex-crew frm jetstar i think u sud go thru all the page n read it. as 4 me i still am going 4 2moro's interview. hope to see u there. good luck!!

hi. can i know what's the minimum age for jet*asia? i hope i can join jet*asia as a FA, but im wondering if im eligible since im 18.

vaney, the min age 4 jetstar asia is 18yr old.

Actually in Singapore, the eligible age to be a FA is 18 years old.

Hmm...
I forced my sister to go for silkair's interview on 18th Aug but she's going to be 17 this Oct. No hope...

i dun think they will take in 17 unless she's 17 going 18 in a few mth den dats ok.

I guess each airline company has its pros and cons...so is up to oneself to decide whether to join the company anot.
