I'm going to the prev. country I used to live in using my working visa which is still valid supposedly till next April and my prev. company well the HR promised or implied that they had no intention to cancel my working visa cos they see it's no benefit for them to do so nor no damage coz I'm leaving the country.
But when I called the immigration office I was told that there is a risk I can be stopped at the airport over there and they wouldn't let me out of the airport if they found out I haven't been working there and have been abroad for some time.
How can I confirm my visa is still valid or now considering I don't think it's advisable to give them my passport number nor my visa ref. number considering they can definitely put a footnote or such for the immigration officers at the airport to definitely stop me from going out...
