For those who have/had been in Japan, are there things you wish or you would bring from Japan to be used in Singapore? Out of necessity as well perhaps. And of course things you can only find in Japan but not here.
I'm going back just for a while and am thinking to get those powder to unclog sink's pipes for example. They work like wonders in Japan and I haven't been able to find this here.
Would hit 100 yen shop there too

Kimi, do you know about the
Daiso shop in IMM building? It's Singapore's 100 yen (S$2 actually) shop.
Cheers

I heard still 100 yen shops in Japan have more things. Just heard though, haven't been to Daiso here yet.
I'm not really offering to bring back stuff for people I must admit cos I'll be busy to settle with some unfinished business while I'm there... but if I could find the things you want in the same places I'm going to, I don't mind bringing them provided it's not big nor too expensive nor will give me problem at the airport...
I was thinking that this thread can be a reminder for me what I need to bring from Japan which I can't find from here... Well a selfish purpose I know

i'm not japanese but i've been to tokyo 7 or 8 times in the last 4 years.
i think i would just fill my stomach with those really fresh sashimis, blowfish sake, and unagis in the fishmarket with some very fresh wasabis
the unagis here have some sort of smell and food here would be considered 'stale' in comparison with those served in japan

I'd check whether for the Japan job you could do it on a contract basis rather than a standard employment contract.
BTW well done on doing two jobs...
