Obtaining PR based on my spouse as a sponsor

Post by Craig » Sun, 26 Jun 2005 8:09 am

I am new at this so please bare with me.

I am a 35 y/o American and accountant with a Master's degree. And my fiance' is a Singapore citizen and we will be married in November in Singapore. I will then apply for my PR at that time.

After reading on this site, which I am very thankful for, it seems to be difficult to get a PR approved. Am I mistaken or does it make a difference if my wife is a citizen? And should I just wait to see if it gets approved before job searching? Thank you for your help.
