LCD Asus Laptop L3400H

Post by ksl » Fri, 24 Jun 2005 10:01 pm

wanted.

Lcd laptop, lid, My asus laptop had an accident, and the LCD screen got broken, The computer works on external monitor but only in VGA mode, So I need to get the lid,(LCD) replaced. It's only just over one year old.

Customer service say, it will cost to much to replace the lcd, over a 1000 sgd. which I don't at all believe. So if there is anyone with used and unrepairable laptops, let me know.

So, looks like you found a solution, good!

Now there's another thing I'd like to know. You said your laptop had an accident, and the LCD screen got broken. What kind of accident? What were you trying to do? Troll bashing??

I was kind of pissed off, with the slow reaction time, could be the infrastructure here in Singapore, or my ISP, that is hosting my websites, in the states, I'm getting a ping of 256m/s on 512 AdSl, opening my mail box is a real killer, 5 to 7 minutes sometimes. Yet hotmail, and yahoo are very fast.

I actually slammed the laptop, to the floor in a rage of frustration!!! :x :x :???:

ASUS customer service were also surprised! I did however remark what good quality their product was, it did take some bashing, and still worked, apart from the DVD.

My wife wasn't to happy having to hand over her laptop to me!!! Even though I have promised to keep 8)
