If you rather read a newspaper than view it off the web, i reckon you should go to one of the big bookshops such as Kinokuniya or MPH and check out the newspapers/magazines section. Or go to their websites and type in an enquiry form. I'm sure you'd find it one way or another unless there is simply no supply of the NY Times in Singapore.

Try Holland Village newspaper stands, the ones at the main road. I guess they should have copies of it. 8)

Also - try the Internationl Herald Tribune. It is basically a compiltaion of the best of the NY Times, The Washington Post, and i think the WS Journal. I usually find that it gives me the times news that i miss - along with a broader int'l perspective.
