Hi Jessy

I should think so as stated on their website :-

The essential requirements of the position are:

Minimum 18 years of age.
Height between 163 - 183cm.
Australian permanent residency and a passport ensuring unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call with at least 12 months validity.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate with a validity of 12 months at time of application.
Responsible Service of Alcohol 'Statement of Attainment'.
Strong commitment to customer service and recent experience in a face to face role.
Experience in Food and Beverage service is an advantage.
Demonstrated empathy in service with people from a variety of cultures and countries.
An excellent level of health and fitness.
A willingness to relocate, as required, to any location.
A demonstrated fluency in at least one of the following priority languages will be a distinct advantage:

Mandarin
Cantonese
Japanese
French
German
Italian

Well duuuh! Let's see if a job application that goes like this (below) would be successful ...

"Dear Sir, I am applying to join your esteemed airline. I love to travel and as a flight attendant I expect to be away from home for a large part of the year. However, I don't want to leave Singapore to get the job!!"

Hmmm. This letter would probably make the short journey from in-tray to wastebin in record time.

Qantas singapore is finally recruiting again.

anyway, ive got afew questions. The newspapers did not state the entree requirements, all they did was to ask her to bring our resume, a ic phtograph n a full length phtgh.

im 19 n im afraid there's a age requirement and i do not have a O'level certificate as im pursing an Art Degree. The main concern of mine is that i'm short, 1.58m.

Will high heels helped in that interview? haha

i've check qantas website. they aren't employing cabin crew.

as for the papers, i am not sure cos i do not have straits times.

but if qantas is really employing, i dun think i can qualify for it cos the website states that the min. height is 163cm. me only 161cm... heeee...

Well, I think Charmaine may have misread the recruitment in the papers. The one recruiting is Qatar and not Qantas!!....duh!
