A couple's romantic dinner shd not be considered with the price. Its not the place where you eat, its the person you are eating with. This guy is sincere here, so lets just help him.He is willing to spend his time and effort to find a nice place to surprise his girl. It's better than he bring the girl to somewhere very classy n nice, but in the end she have to fork out for her own meal yea...

Being with the person who truely loves you and the person whom you truely loves, is priceless.

I would suggest you to go to any nice mamak or stalls. And to save for the special occasions. Else the recommendations are really very nice, its worth every cent. :D

Yeah man, why are people attacking this poor guy who just wants to have a memorable night with his gf? How many guys will actually go to such lengths to source for ideas this way just for a nice night? Such a sweet guy, all the best dude!

Yea, i agree with them, don't need to spend So Much, spending Alot don't mean that u 2 are having good/romantic/nice food!!
Me & my BF alway go Food court or Supermart or Sushi outlet(sells take away). Food court we will try to look around for special food which we never had before or popular ones, Supermart look for stuff to snack special or something we like or even better buy and cook at home(best!). Sushi we buy afew and find a place sit, eat and chat.
Don't need to go to a big restaurant and you got to mind ur manners, or outfit or surrounding... I think being yourself and carefree is best.
Of course during special occasion is fine but for me, when i'm with him it's the Best moment.
I saw this couple when i was going Hereen to try the Hand-made wanton mee at the top floor. They were sharing a bowl of wanton mee! $2.80! I was going there to do the same sharing with my bf and was thinking when ppl see me might think we r poor or "giam siap" (stingy) but after seeing the couple beside I don't feel that anymore. Sharing bring 2 of u closer and u can try feed him/her too.
hehe. :D

There is a nice place by the side of Plaza Singapura. A Vietnamese restaurant called Mai. Its very affordable and the food is nice. The place is very well decorated and the ambience is fair.

Give it a try dude. 8)
