Environmental Public Health Act

Hi

Under the Environmental Public Health Act, you cannot "hawk, sell or expose for sale any food or goods of any kind..." unless you obtain a licence.

If you are providing food to one neighbour and she pays you gratuity for your trouble perhaps you are quite safe. However if you are intending to do more than that, perhaps you ought to think of getting a licence. There is also the Sale of Food Act that actually allows officials to enter into your premises to check the conditions in which your food is prepared.

SMS me at 98367187 if you need to find out more.

Hi! You can sell all you like. And provided the other party don't complain about you. In Singapore if you want to follow everything according to Law there is basically nothing you can do in this small island. So the rule apply Just Do It. Man! Who care!
