What do you do with a 10 year old Mercedes?

I am considering two options:

OPTION 1: A 2001 Mecedes C180. The price should be about $90k.

If it is worth $0k when it is 10 years old then the depreciation is $90k/6 = $15k/year

OPTION 2: A 2004 Corolla Altis. The price should be about $60K.

If it is worth $0k when it is 10 years old then the depreciation is $60k/10 = $6k/yr

Are my maths correct?

When a <10yr old car is deregistered, there is a residual PARF value, which is dependent on OMV or ARF paid.

This PARF paper value can be used to offset the ARF when purchasing a new car. Alternatively, this PARF paper can be sold to dealers at about 3% lesser of it's value.
